What is Birmingham Entrepreneur? Birmingham Entrepreneur is an organization designed to serve entrepreneurs in the city of Birmingham. It is really that simple. We started in December 2007 with a simple meeting. Since that time, our meetings have grown significantly and so has our membership. We do our best to always be as valuable as possible to our members and listen to their needs. We believe that has been the secret to our success.
Our mission is to encourage, assist and inspire potential entrepreneurs and startups in Birmingham. We do that by:
- Provide members access to successful local entrepreneurs. Many of these are serial entrepreneurs who have bootstrapped, taken investment, and successfully exited businesses.
- Supply members with the most up to date information for creating a startup. This includes presentations by subject matter experts on topics such as sales/marketing, angel/venture capital, accounting, legal issues, and more.
- Connect entrepreneurs with people that can help them with some aspect of their business. Nobody can do it all by themselves. We work hard to find people to help you that understand the unique demands of a startup including how to work within your limited budget.
